Solution Architect – Core Data Center (DC)

Experience Required: 3 to 8 Years

About the Role

SHI India is seeking a Solution Architect – Core Data Center (DC) to join our growing presales team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in data center technologies who can architect and deliver high-impact infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver customized Data Center solutions.
• Design and configure infrastructure solutions using:
• Storage: NetApp, HPE, Dell
• VDI/HCI: Nutanix, VMware vSAN
• HPC (High Performance Computing)
• Lead technical discussions, solutioning, and RFP responses.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and POCs (proof-of-concepts).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to product development.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams, proposals, and technical documentation.

Required Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 to 8 years of presales / solution architect experience in Core Data Center technologies.
• Deep technical knowledge of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, HCI, and HPC.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Certifications in VMware, Nutanix, NetApp, etc. are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications (e.g., VMware VCAP, Citrix CCP).
• Experience with Cisco UCS, OpenStack, RedHat OpenShift, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Prior work experience with IT services or solutions providers.
