Job summary

SoftwareOne invites experienced Presales Solution Architect to join our Azure Services initiative in India. You will translate customer needs into secure, scalable Azure architectures and work with sales and delivery teams to win deals.

You will lead workshops, PoCs, and demos, shaping end-to-end cloud migrations and modernization while aligning with Azure best practices. Strong communication and Microsoft certifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven presales experience with Azure cloud solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps in Azure.
• Ability to author SoWs, manage PoCs, run demos and guide solution validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; Microsoft certifications preferred.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor in presales activities, including workshops and solution discussions.
• Architect scalable Azure platforms using core services and DevOps practices.

As a Presales Solution Architect – Azure Services, you will play a critical role in supporting sales engagements by designing and presenting Azure-based solutions. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure architectures

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements and design end-to-end Azure solutions aligned to their goals.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor in presales activities, including workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Architect scalable Azure platforms using core services like Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Azure Active Directory, Security, and Azure DevOps.
• Design and guide cloud migration, modernization, and integration strategies, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices.
• Support proposals (SoW, RFPs/RFIs), lead PoCs and demos, and provide ongoing technical guidance to delivery teams and partners while staying current with Azure innovations.

What we need to see from you

• Experienced Presales Solution Architect with strong Azure cloud expertise and customer-facing presales experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps.
• Skilled in cloud migration, integration, governance, and end-to-end solution architecture design.
• Proven ability to build SoW, manage PoCs, deliver technical demos, and drive solution validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with relevant Microsoft certifications preferred
