Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Presales Solution Architect – Azure Services in Bengaluru to design and present Azure-based solutions for customers. You will collaborate with sales and delivery teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud architectures.

The role requires hands-on Azure knowledge across compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps, with experience in PoCs, demos, and SoW development.

Qualifications

• Presales architect with Azure cloud expertise and customer-facing experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps.
• Experience in designing PoCs, demos, and creating Statements of Work (SoW).

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements and design end-to-end Azure solutions.
• Act as trusted technical advisor in presales activities, including workshops, solution discussions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Architect scalable Azure platforms using core services like Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Azure Active Directory, Security, and Azure DevOps.
• Design and guide cloud migration, modernization, and integration strategies, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices.
• Support proposals (SoW, RFPs/RFIs), lead PoCs and demos, and provide ongoing technical guidance to delivery teams and partners while staying current with Azure innovations.

As a Presales Solution Architect – Azure Services, you will play a critical role in supporting sales engagements by designing and presenting Azure-based solutions. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery partners to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure architectures

What we need to see from you

• Experienced Presales Solution Architect with strong Azure cloud expertise and customer-facing presales experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of core Azure services including compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and DevOps.
• Skilled in cloud migration, integration, governance, and end-to-end solution architecture design.
• Proven ability to build SoW, manage PoCs, deliver technical demos, and drive solution validation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with relevant Microsoft certifications preferred.
