Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect/Lead Architect to design and govern complex solutions across on‑premises, cloud, and vendor‑provided platforms. You will own the end‑to‑end architecture, including governance, roadmaps, and alignment with business strategy.

The role requires strong knowledge of networking, IoT/Edge, security technologies, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) plus MuleSoft experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering designs and solution architecture.
• Knowledge of governance processes and architecture roadmaps.
• Experience with externally hosted and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture concepts.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and MuleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering designs and solution architecture from logical to physical infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural governance to align designs with roadmaps.
• Ensure hosted solutions are governed and approved (internal, external, cloud, PaaS, SaaS).
• Maintain deep knowledge across Networking, IoT/Edge, security, servers, cloud, middleware, and databases.
• Involve in enterprise/global systems and cloud-based deployments and governance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
