Job summary

Purview Services seeks a Lead Architect to translate business requirements into scalable engineering designs and solution architectures across logical to physical layers. You will govern architecture roadmaps, oversee governance processes, and ensure secure, compliant deployments across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Key focus areas include networking, IoT/edge, protective security technologies, virtualization, middleware, and databases, with strong ties

Qualifications

• Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect with enterprise-scale experience.
• Experience with enterprise/global systems and cloud-hosted solutions.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance and roadmaps.
• Hands-on with AWS, Google GCP, Azure and MuleSoft.
• Understanding of security in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering designs and solution architecture from logical to physical infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural governance ensuring alignment with roadmaps.
• Ensure hosted solutions follow governance and approval processes.
• Maintain deep knowledge of networking, IoT/edge, security technologies, virtualization.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and databases.
• Leverage middleware and data/ business architecture.
• Contribute to EA concepts and architecture roadmap.
• Experience with externally hosted and cloud-based solutions.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
