Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a seasoned Architect to deliver engineering designs and solution architecture across logical to physical infrastructure, aligning with business requirements. The role spans governance, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture, with hands-on knowledge of networking, IoT/Edge, security technologies, and databases.

You will work with global systems, external hosting, and SaaS/PaaS governance, leveraging AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure to shape the future state

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Enterprise Architecture and its relation to business strategy and target operating models.
• Experience with enterprise or global systems including externally hosted and cloud-based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and governance processes (e.g. EHC, ITSA).
• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.
• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure proposed solution designs are aligned to architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture.
• Ensuring hosted solutions governance and relevant approval processes (internal, external, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS).
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, IoT/Edge technologies, Protective Security technologies, Server virtualization, Cloud infrastructure (Azure), Middleware, Databases.
• Excellent understanding of Enterprise Architecture and its linkage to business strategy and architecture roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
