Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a Lead Architect to deliver engineering designs and solution architectures spanning logical to physical infrastructure for complex business needs.

The role drives architectural governance, aligning designs with roadmaps and future state architectures, across internal, external, cloud, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Delivering engineering designs and solution architecture from logical to physical infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise/global systems, including cloud hosting and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and MuleSoft ecosystems.
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture, governance, and operating models.
• Experience in the Financial Services sector focusing on security technologies.

• Deliver engineering designs and solution architecture to meet business needs—from logic to physical infrastructure.

• Ensure hosted solutions have governance and approval processes (internal/external, cloud, PaaS, SaaS).

• Leverage enterprise architecture concepts to guide architecture roadmaps and governance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
