Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to deliver engineering designs and solution architectures across logical to physical layers. The role requires governance participation to align designs with roadmaps and future-state architecture.

Responsibilities include hosting decisions across internal, external, cloud, PaaS, and SaaS environments, with emphasis on network, IoT/edge, security tech, virtualization, and cloud infra, including Azure, Middleware, and databases.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering engineering designs and solution architecture.
• Understanding of governance in architecture roadmaps and future-state architecture.
• Ability to host deployed solutions with governance and approvals.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts and governance best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and integration platforms.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
