Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a Senior Architect to drive engineering designs and solution architectures from concept to physical infrastructure. You will participate in governance to ensure alignment with roadmaps and future state architecture, and you will oversee hosting strategies for vendor and in-house solutions across on-premise, cloud, PaaS and SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.
• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure proposed solution designs align with architecture roadmaps and future state architecture.
• Ensuring hosted system solutions (vendor and in-house) are properly governed and approved, whether internal, external, cloud, PaaS, or SaaS.
• Deep knowledge of networking, IoT/Edge technologies, protective security technologies and solutions (EACS, SVS, Biometrics, Video analytics), server infrastructure and virtualization, cloud infrastructure (Azure), middleware, and databases.
• Understanding Enterprise Architecture and its link to business strategy and operating models, and mapping to architecture roadmaps and governance best practices.
• Experience with enterprise or global systems, including externally hosted and cloud-based solutions (PaaS, SaaS) and related governance processes (EHC, ITSA).
• Experience with AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft; expertise in data or business architecture; and good understanding of the Financial Services industry and security technologies.
• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect.

• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
