Job summary

Purview Services is seeking an experienced Architect/Lead Architect to deliver comprehensive engineering designs and solution architectures that meet business requirements, from logical models to physical infrastructure. You will participate in governance to ensure alignment with the architecture roadmaps and Group Future State Architecture.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of architecture concepts, governance, and roadmapping.
• Experience with enterprise or global systems, cloud-based solutions (PaaS/SaaS).
• Proficiency with AWS, Google GCP, Azure, and MuleSoft.
• Understanding of data or business architecture within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Delivering engineering designs and solution architecture from logical to physical infrastructure.
• Participating in architectural governance to align designs with roadmaps and future state architecture.
• Ensuring hosted solutions are properly governed and approved (internal, external, cloud, PaaS, SaaS).
• Demonstrating expertise in networking, IoT/edge tech, security tech, servers, cloud infra, middleware, and databases.
• Showing know-how of enterprise architecture and its linkage to business strategy and operating models.
• Working with externally hosted and cloud-based solutions with appropriate governance.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.


• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture


• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.


• In-depth technical, functional, and non-functional knowledge of:

• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.


• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
