Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead engineering designs and solution architecture across logical to physical layers, aligning with business requirements.

You will drive governance, oversee hosting models (internal, external, cloud, PaaS, SaaS), and ensure architectures support strategic roadmaps. Strong expertise in cloud platforms and security is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture and governance practices.
• Experience with enterprise/global systems, cloud hosting, and governance processes.
• Knowledge of AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft.
• Strong understanding of Financial Services security and building security technology.
• Demonstrable experience as Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.
• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture
• Ensuring that deployed system solutions, both vendors supplied, and in-house developments are appropriately hosted (Internally, Externally, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including the corresponding governance and relevant approval processes.
• Networking
• IoT / Edge technologies
• Protective Security technologies and solutions (EACS, SVS, Biometrics, Video analytics)
• Server infrastructure and virtualization
• Cloud infrastructure (particularly Azure)
• Middleware
• Databases
• Excellent understanding of the concept of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and target operating models, and how to relate this to an architecture roadmap and a solid understanding of general architectural concepts, principles, governance, and best practices.
• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.
• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft
• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.
• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.
• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
