Job summary

Purview Services seeks a Specialist Engineer / Lead Architect to define and govern engineering designs and solution architectures from logical to physical infrastructure.

You will drive governance processes across on-premise, cloud, and SaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and ensure alignment with business strategy and enterprise roadmaps, while overseeing complex, global systems and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Deliver engineering designs and solution architectures from logical design to physical infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise/global systems, including cloud and externally hosted solutions, governance processes.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture and its relation to business strategy and operating models.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Google GCP, Azure, and MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of data or business architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with security technologies in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Engineering Designs and Solution Architecture to meet business requirements, from logical architecture through to physical infrastructure architecture.
• Participating in Architectural Governance processes to ensure that proposed solution designs are strategically aligned to the architecture roadmaps and the Groups Future State Architecture
• Ensuring that deployed system solutions are appropriately hosted (Internal, External, Cloud, PaaS, SaaS) including governance and approval processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, IoT/Edge technologies, protective security technologies, server infrastructure and virtualization, cloud infrastructure (Azure), middleware, and databases.
• Excellent understanding of Enterprise Architecture and its relationship to business strategy and operating models and governance practices.
• Experience of working with enterprise/global systems and cloud-based solutions with governance processes and related frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft; and other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.
• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.
• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect.

• Experience of working with enterprise or global systems and solutions, including Externally Hosted and Cloud based solutions; PaaS, SaaS and the associated governance processes; EHC, ITSA, etc.


• Experience of technologies: AWS, Google GCP, Azure, MuleSoft


• Experience in other architecture disciplines such as data or business architecture.


• Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and building security technology.


• Demonstrable experience as a Specialist Engineer or Lead Architect
