Job summary

Great Eastern Idtech is seeking a Technical Writer with a CS background and 5+ years of hands-on experience to create software user guides, API documentation, and system manuals for enterprise applications, WMS, and ERP integration workflows. You will translate complex tech concepts into clear, user-friendly content for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities include end-user docs, release notes, interface mappings with SAP ERP/MES, and deployment guides for on-premise and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
• Basic familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, WMS, or ERP concepts.
• Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Git, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• End-User Documentation: Draft and update step-by-step User guides, FAQs, and Help manuals for Web applications and Android mobile apps
• Visual Design: Create basic workflow diagrams and process charts to make complex logistics processes easier to understand
• Version updates: Draft release notes and feature summaries for enterprise clients during upgrade cycles.
• Interface Mapping: Document system integration touchpoints between custom apps and SAP ERP / MES platforms.
• API & Data References: Maintain internal and external technical documentation for backend data flows and message queues.
• System Config Guides: Author deployment manuals for system administrators managing on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

• Core skills include excellent command of English, strong eye for detail, and the ability to accept and implement constructive feedback on writing drafts.
