Job summary

Fine Constructions in Coimbatore is looking for a hands-on Civil Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day site execution, ensuring alignment with approved drawings and safety standards.

The role includes planning manpower, materials, and machinery, coordinating civil, plumbing and electrical works, and checking shuttering, reinforcement, and concrete before pours while reporting progress weekly to keep the project on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day site execution and site discipline independently
• Set out levels, grid lines and column marking as per approved drawings
• Check shuttering, reinforcement and concrete before every pour
• Plan daily and weekly work manpower, material and machinery
• Monitor progress against schedule and send daily progress reports
• Raise material indents in advance and control wastage at site
• Fix daily targets for contractor gangs and verify their work quantities
• Take joint measurements and support the QS team for RA bills
• Coordinate civil, plumbing and electrical agencies at site
• Ensure quality checks, safety (PPE, scaffolding, height work) and site documentation
