Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to supervise daily activities at the project site in Chennai. You will execute work per drawings, specs, BOQ, and schedules while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and the design team.

The role requires 2–5 years of civil site experience and a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, with preference for candidates from commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant site experience in civil construction.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
• Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and project teams.
• Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
• Check measurements and verify quantities of completed works.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues or deviations.
• Coordinate with the design/engineering team for drawing clarifications and technical issues.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and quality checks.
