Job summary

VGN Homes in Chennai is seeking a construction site professional to oversee project execution on-site, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and internal teams to monitor progress, manage resources, review bills and measurements, and resolve technical issues, contributing to timely handover and quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, architects, structural engineers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure achievement of construction milestones within planned schedules.
• Manage site resources including manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment for optimum productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Review and verify work measurements, contractor bills, and progress reports.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site execution challenges.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly project records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality compliance and minimize rework.
• Monitor material consumption and control wastage to achieve cost-effective project execution.
• Support project handover activities and ensure closure of snag lists and punch points.
