Job summary

Vorsto B in Ahmedabad is seeking a proactive Site Engineer MEPF to manage day-to-day on-site activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting and ELV systems.

You will read AutoCAD drawings, coordinate with contractors, suppliers and project managers, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety, and prepare daily reports and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of MEP site execution experience.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel across project sites.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Site Engineer MEPF to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day MEPF site activities, ensuring smooth execution of work, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with all project stakeholders for timely project completion.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily MEPF site activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor the installation of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD and engineering drawings for accurate site execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan and monitor work progress to achieve project milestones within the given timelines.
• Raise material requisitions, coordinate timely deliveries, and keep track of material consumption at site.
• Verify measurements and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation, material records, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and approved construction practices.
• Identify site execution issues, coordinate with the concerned teams, and help resolve them efficiently.
• Assist in inspections, testing, commissioning, and final project handover.
• Review contractor measurements and bills whenever required.
• Support effective cost control by ensuring proper utilization of materials and resources.
