Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Engineer – Execution – Site (Mechanical) to lead on-site mechanical works such as piping, equipment erection, HVAC, and fire protection. You will supervise subcontractors, interpret drawings, and ensure QA/QC, safety, and timely handover of systems.

The role requires 2-5 years of hands-on site experience, a Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, and strong coordination with procurement and design teams. Based at the project site in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant site execution experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and field coordination.
• Ability to read drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Execute site-level mechanical works including erection of equipment, pipelines, ducting, and fire-fighting systems.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure progress per schedule and standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and layout plans.
• Conduct stage-wise inspections, testing, and installation verification per QA/QC guidelines.
• Ensure availability of resources (materials, tools, manpower, equipment) for uninterrupted execution.
• Maintain site documentation such as daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material tracking.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery and with design teams for clarifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and raise flags on deviations or non-conformities.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.
• Support commissioning activities and assist in resolving punch points during handover
