Job summary

Net2Source LLP is seeking a ServiceNow ITSM Developer/Consultant in Mumbai on a hybrid schedule. The role requires 3–6 years of IT experience with hands-on ServiceNow ITSM development and strong ITIL knowledge.

You will work in an Agile environment, implementing, customizing, and supporting ITSM modules across Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and more. The candidate will design, develop, and configure ITSM applications, build reports, dashboards, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of overall IT experience with 3+ years hands-on ServiceNow ITSM development experience
• Strong expertise in Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and SLA modules
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM applications based on business requirements
• Configure and enhance Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and SLA Management modules
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and Flow Designer workflows
• Create and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, Variables, Variable Sets, and Catalog Client Scripts
• Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for operations and business reporting
• Perform GlideRecord-based scripting and server- and client-side scripting for automation
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide resolutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and adhere to ITIL best practices and governance

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow ITSM Developer / Consultant with hands‑on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting ITSM modules within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, a good understanding of ITIL processes, and experience delivering enterprise ServiceNow solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM applications based on business requirements.
• Configure and enhance Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and SLA Management modules.
• Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, ACLs, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Create and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, Variables, Variable Sets, and Catalog Client Scripts.
• Build and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server where applicable.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operational and business reporting.
• Perform GlideRecord-based scripting and server‑side/client‑side scripting for platform automation.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices, ServiceNow development standards, and governance guidelines.

Required Skills

• 3 to 7 years of overall IT experience with 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow ITSM development experience.
• Strong expertise in Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and SLA modules.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, GlideRecord, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow integration capabilities.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT service management practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Candidates with strong ServiceNow ITSM development expertise, integration experience, and enterprise implementation exposure will be preferred.
