Job summary

Commergence is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end ServiceNow solutions for global clients. You will build server- and client-side scripts, implement integrations with Azure AD, Jira, Slack, SAP, and drive deployments through CI/CD tools.

The role focuses on performance optimization, platform governance, and mentoring junior developers while aligning technical delivery with business KPIs. Hybrid work with India offices and remote balance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and deploying ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and ITOM.
• Strong scripting skills in Server-Side ( GlideRecord, Script Includes ) and Client-Side ( UI Policies, Business Rules ).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP web services and MID Server patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and ITOM from requirements to go-live.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using ServiceNow scripting.
• Lead code reviews, enforce governance, and automate deployments via Update Sets or CI/CD pipelines.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and ITOM modules — from requirements to go-live and beyond.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations using Server-Side (GlideRecord, Script Includes) and Client-Side (UI Policies, Business Rules) scripting.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., Azure AD, Jira, Slack, SAP) using REST/SOAP web services and MID Server patterns.
• Lead code reviews, enforce platform governance, and automate deployments through ServiceNow Update Sets or CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot escalated incidents, and proactively resolve platform stability or scalability bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product owners to align technical delivery with business KPIs.
