Exiger Technologies is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Service Mapping & CMDB Integration Specialist to lead enterprise CMDB transformation. This role focuses on improving CMDB quality, service dependency mapping, configuring Discovery, and integrating multiple data sources.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB relation modeling, and enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CMDB transformation, service dependency mapping and data integration across sources.
• Experience configuring Discovery and data quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assess Service Mapping readiness for critical business services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Service Mapping patterns and validate dependencies.
• Improve service-to-infrastructure relationship accuracy and resolve gaps.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery; manage MID Servers and schedules.
• Enhance CMDB data quality and support CMDB relationship modeling.
• Implement CMDB integrations using Service Graph Connectors, Integration Hub, REST APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and duplicate CI creation; support reconciliation rules.
• Map cloud assets (Azure/AWS/GCP) to CMDB classes; ensure ownership and lifecycle accuracy.
• Prepare test plans; support QA/UAT and production releases; deliver technical docs.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB relationship modeling, and enterprise integrations.

This is a highly technical, hands‑on role focused on improving CMDB quality, implementing service dependency mapping, configuring Discovery, and integrating multiple enterprise data sources.

Key Responsibilities

Service Mapping

• Assess Service Mapping readiness for critical business services.
• Configure and troubleshoot Service Mapping patterns.
• Validate application and infrastructure dependencies.
• Improve service-to-infrastructure relationship accuracy.
• Resolve incomplete or failed service maps.

Discovery & CMDB

• Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery.
• Manage MID Servers, Discovery schedules, credentials, and patterns.
• Improve Discovery coverage and CMDB data quality.
• Troubleshoot stale or missing Configuration Items (CIs).
• Support CMDB relationship modeling.

Integration

• Implement CMDB integrations using:
  • Service Graph Connectors
  • Integration Hub
  • REST APIs
  • Import Sets
  • Transform Maps
• Troubleshoot integration failures and duplicate CI creation.
• Support reconciliation and Identification Rules (IRE).

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Integrate Azure, AWS, or GCP resources into CMDB.
• Map cloud assets to appropriate CI classes.
• Support cloud security and CNAPP integrations.
• Ensure ownership, lifecycle, and dependency accuracy.

Testing & Documentation

• Prepare test plans and execute validation.
• Support QA/UAT and production releases.
• Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
