Job summary

TriluxTech is seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Lead with deep ITOM, Discovery and AIOps expertise to design, govern, and optimize enterprise CMDB data across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires hands-on ServiceNow Discovery, strong CSDM alignment, data quality governance, and the ability to lead greenfield or transformation programs while engaging stakeholders across ITSM, ITOM, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of IT experience with hands-on ServiceNow CMDB.
• Proven ServiceNow Discovery experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Strong ITOM knowledge: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
• Experience with AIOps / predictive intelligence / event correlation.
• Deep CMDB data modeling, identification & reconciliation (IRE).
• Experience with CSDM alignment and service graph connectors.
• Hands-on integrations (REST, MID Server, cloud APIs AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise implementations / greenfield setups.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMDB architecture, design, and implementation aligned with IT objectives.
• Drive ServiceNow Discovery implementation and optimization across on-prem and cloud.
• Ensure CMDB data accuracy, reconciliation, and governance using best practices.
• Define and implement CSDM-compliant data models and relationships.
• Collaborate with ITSM, ITOM, and business teams to ensure CMDB adoption.
• Implement and manage Service Mapping for critical business services.
• Integrate CMDB with external tools (monitoring, cloud platforms, asset systems).
• Support AIOps initiatives leveraging CMDB for event correlation and RCA.
• Establish data certification, normalization, and lifecycle processes.
• Provide leadership in greenfield or transformation programs.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Drive governance and enforce data quality; engaging stakeholders.

Required:

• 5–10 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow CMDB expertise
• Proven experience in ServiceNow Discovery (minimum 3–5 years preferred, not mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of ITOM modules – Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management
• Experience with AIOps / Predictive Intelligence / event correlation frameworks
• Deep understanding of CMDB data modeling, identification & reconciliation rules (IRE)
• Experience working with CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Experience with service graph connectors.
