Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Functional Consultant for its Greater Noida delivery center. The role focuses on gathering requirements, defining CMDB configurations, and ensuring ITIL-aligned deployment across ITSM ecosystems.

The candidate will lead workshops, drive process adoption, and develop training materials while collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders. Immediate to 60 days notice may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to CMDB implementation and usage.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for CMDB configuration and enhancements.
• Design, implement, and optimize CMDB processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
• Define and manage CI lifecycle processes, including creation, modification, and retirement.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and process owners to identify CMDB requirements.
• Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Drive CMDB process adoption through effective change management and communication strategies.
• Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement frameworks for CMDB initiatives.
• Create training materials and conduct CMDB user training sessions.
• Provide functional support and guidance to end users and process stakeholders.
• Create and maintain CMDB documentation, policies, procedures, SOPs, and user guides.
• Design and maintain CMDB reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze CMDB health, data quality, and system usage trends and recommend improvements.
• Define and enforce CMDB data governance standards, policies, and controls.
• Conduct data quality reviews, audits, and data cleansing activities to ensure CMDB accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to integrate CMDB with ITSM, Asset Management, Discovery, Monitoring, and other enterprise systems.
• Define functional requirements for CMDB integrations and enhancements.
• Ensure CMDB processes comply with ITIL standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit and compliance activities related to Configuration Management.
• Evaluate CMDB tools and capabilities from a functional and business process perspective.
• Coordinate with vendors and platform teams to address functional issues and enhancement requests.
• Monitor industry trends and CMDB best practices and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support CMDB implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects.
• Assist in defining project scope, deliverables, success criteria, and functional requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CMDB effectiveness and business value.

• Exposure to governance, risk, compliance, and audit activities related to CMDB.
