Job summary

Contactx Resource Management seeks a ServiceNow ITOM specialist to design, develop, and implement ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB. You will configure MID Servers, discovery schedules, and patterns to ensure accurate service mapping.

You will also integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools, maintain CMDB health, and collaborate with ITSM, SecOps, and DevOps teams.

• Strong experience in ServiceNow ITOM modules.
• Hands-on with Discovery and Service Mapping.
• CMDB & CSDM model understanding.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server setup.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB.
• Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and patterns.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools and ensure CMDB health.

Job description

Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including:

• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• Orchestration
• CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Configure and maintain MID Servers, Discovery schedules, and patterns.
• Implement and manage Service Mapping for business services and applications.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk).
• Work on Event Management including alert correlation, event rules, and dashboards.

Ensure CMDB health by managing:

• Data normalization
• Data reconciliation
• CI relationships
• Develop workflows, business rules, and scripts using:
• JavaScript
• Glide APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ITOM modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ITSM, SecOps, DevOps).
• Participate in upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in ServiceNow ITOM modules

Knowledge of:

Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and in a team

Nice to Have:
