Job summary

Input Zero Technologies is seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to configure, customize, and implement ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB and Event Management. You will optimize IT infrastructure, develop integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, and maintain CI data models.

Ideal candidates have hands-on ServiceNow ITOM experience, knowledge of MID Server and IRE, and strong scripting in JavaScript.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer with strong hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow IT Operations Management solutions. The candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing IT infrastructure through Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Discovery patterns.
• Configure and maintain Service Mapping for business and technical services.
• Implement and manage Event Management, event rules, alert correlation, and monitoring integrations.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, identification and reconciliation.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party monitoring tools.
• Work with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and related integration components.
• Troubleshoot ITOM-related issues and provide technical solutions.
• Support IT infrastructure monitoring, service health, and operational visibility.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM.
• Expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
• Good understanding of MID Server, Discovery Patterns, Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
• Understanding of ITIL and IT Operations processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow CIS-ITOM certification preferred.
