Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned to business requirements.
• Develop and customize applications, workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs; use MID Servers as needed.
• Configure CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Orchestration, and automation workflows.
• Develop custom applications using JavaScript and Glide API; follow best practices.
• Optimize platform performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Implement Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, and Configuration Management workflows.
• Configure HRSD workflows to enhance employee experiences.
• Develop ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and AIOps.
• Troubleshoot issues across modules; stay updated with new releases.

The candidate will be responsible for configuring, developing, optimizing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications while collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the ServiceNow Developer

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, Service Catalog, Orchestration, and Automation workflows.

Required Skills And Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Development and Implementation.
• Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, HRSD, ITAM, and ITOM modules.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Workflows.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog customization.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Service Portal customization.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred)

• ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Certification.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
• Experience with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps).
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based automation within the ServiceNow platform.
