Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with 12-15 years of experience to design, implement and optimize ITOM, CMDB/CSDM and ITSM processes.

You will lead integrations (REST/SOAP), configure MID Servers, and mentor teams while ensuring governance and CMDB health across enterprise infrastructure.

Strong scripting on ServiceNow and hands-on Discovery and Event Management are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in ITOM Discovery and Event Management.
• Experience with CMDB, CSDM, and Service Mapping.
• MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor.
• Strong scripting and development skills on the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Implement and troubleshoot Discovery components, MID Servers, probes, sensors, patterns, and CMDB population.
• Configure Event Management, alert correlation, event ingestion, and monitoring tool integrations.
• Develop automation workflows, integrations, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer solutions.
• Perform code reviews, technical design, upgrade analysis, and production support.
• Work closely with architects, business analysts, testing teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Improve CMDB health, governance, and operational visibility across enterprise infrastructure.
• Provide expert advice for delivery and operations team post maturity assessment.
