Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Pune seeks an experienced ServiceNow ITOM expert to translate business outcomes into ITOM capabilities. You will leverage Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB data models to drive data quality and governance.

Responsibilities include designing event intake models, correlation rules, and operational dashboards for NOC/SRE stakeholders, plus strong change management and workshop facilitation with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB data models with hands-on experience in Discovery, Service Mapping and ITOM Health.
• Excellent skills in eliciting, documenting, and prioritizing requirements (BRDs/FRDs/Use Cases/User Stories) and defining To-Be processes.
• Experience with CMDB governance, data quality rules, CI classes/attributes, and reconciliation.
• Ability to design event intake models, correlation rules, and deduplication policies.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshops, UAT facilitation, and operational readiness planning.

What we are looking for

Must Have

1. Deep Understanding of ServiceNow ITOM Suite
Hands-on BA experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management (ITOM Health), and CMDB data models. Able to translate business outcomes into ITOM capabilities, patterns, and KPIs.

2. Requirements & Process Engineering
Strong skills in eliciting, documenting, and prioritizing requirements (BRDs/FRDs/Use Cases/User Stories), defining To-Be processes, and maintaining traceability through delivery.

3. CMDB Governance & Data Quality
Experience defining CSDM-aligned data models, CI classes/attributes, relationship mapping, data quality rules, reconciliation, and CMDB health dashboards.

4. Event & Alert Operations Design
Ability to design event intake models, correlation rules, deduplication policies, noisy alert reduction, and operational dashboards for NOC/SRE stakeholders.

5. Stakeholder & Change Management
Skilled in stakeholder analysis, RACI, workshops, UAT facilitation, adoption playbooks, and defining operational readiness criteria and training collateral.

Minimum Qualification:

• 15 years of full-time education
