Job summary

Macpower in Pune, India, seeks an experienced technician to diagnose and repair electrical faults on CNC/VMC machines and to service drives, encoders, and sensors. You will troubleshoot CNC controllers from Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas and perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electrical maintenance experience, strong reading of schematics, and the ability to work independently on complex systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults on CNC/VMC machines, minimizing factory downtime.
• Controller Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and configure CNC controllers, including Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas.
• Drive & Motor Calibration: Calibrate and service servo drives, spindle drives, linear scales, encoders, and proximity sensors.
• PLC & Logic Tweaking: Modify, back up, and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic and HMI programs.
• Schematic Reading: Read and interpret complex electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts to resolve circuit issues.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive and predictive electrical maintenance checklists for all machine shop equipment.
