Job summary

Printmach is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair filling, capping, and other packaging machines at customer sites and in-house. The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems found in packaging equipment.

The candidate should be proficient in reading mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams, with strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with packaging line equipment and machines.
• Willingness to travel including international assignments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair filling, capping, and other packaging machines at customer sites and in-house.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Provide technical training and customer support.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair filling, capping, and other packaging machines at customer sites and in-house. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems used in packaging equipment, along with strong customer-facing and problem-solving skills.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong working knowledge of filling machines (liquid/paste/powder), capping machines, labeling, and packaging line equipment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, servo motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical panels.
• Familiarity with PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar) and HMI troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and technical training.
• Willingness to travel , including outstation and international assignments.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
