Job summary

ESP Engineered is looking for a Service Engineer based in Mumbai or Pune, to efficiently handle service calls and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires 4-6 years of experience and an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics. Responsibilities include attending scheduled service calls, generating revenue through spare parts recommendations, and ensuring customer uptime in material handling equipment (MHEs). The ideal candidate will possess technical skills and strong communication abilities, with a focus on improving service efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in a service-oriented role.
• Ability to fulfill Customer’s requirement ensuring 90% uptime of MHEs.
• Additional skills in decision-making and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Handle all service calls efficiently to gain customer satisfaction.
• Attend all service calls as per schedule given by Service Coordinator.
• Submit service reports and list of spare parts after service visit.
• Implement measures for enhancing safety levels during service.

Job purpose

• Handle all Service calls efficiently to gain Customer Satisfaction
• Generate revenue through recommending Spare parts after service visit
• To attend and prioritize service calls to minimize resolution time
• Ensure sharing Best Practices within team to build more technical strength

Duties and responsibilities

• Attend all service calls as per schedule given by Service Coordinator/Dispatcher
• Submitting critical & recommended Spare Parts list to Customer after service visit
• Timely submissions of Service reports and related reports to close calls raised in SAP
• Improve technical skills to handle breakdown calls effectively to reduce downtime of MHEs
• Decision making and problem solving attitude with joint team efforts
• Always suggest ways in improving handling of Installations & Commissioning
• Follow up on Payments with Customers
• Implementing measures for enhancing Safety levels during service
• Responsible for fulfilling all necessary documents related to Service activities

Qualifications
