Job summary

DSS Imagetech in Lucknow is seeking a service engineer to ensure the proper installation, calibration and ongoing functionality of Micro Imaging instruments, including high-end microscopes and imaging software. You will set up equipment, verify performance, and perform regular maintenance to prevent failures, both at customer sites and remotely as needed.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair instruments, maintain preventive maintenance schedules, and support customers across North India.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in service/maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Experience with installation, calibration, commissioning of instruments.
• Good customer service attitude and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of instruments.
• On-site and remote troubleshooting and repairs to ensure continuous operation.
• Meet service and spare part targets within the territory.
• Provide customer support across North India and manage preventive maintenance visits.
• Assist customers with instrument handling and software operation.

Job description

Primary Role: The primary role of a service engineer is to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and functionality of Micro Imaging instruments, particularly high-end microscopes and advanced imaging tools softwares. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up the equipment, calibrating it for optimal performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and performing regular maintenance to prevent system failures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of instruments.
• Responsible for instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repairs at the customer site. This is crucial to ensure the continuous operation of equipment and systems.
• Proven experience in achieving Service and spare part targets within an assigned territory.
• Provide support to customers all over north India on Instrument Operation on site as well as remotely.
• Maintain a calendar for preventive Maintenance visits, performing without causing delay and attending service calls from customers.
• Assisting customers on instrument handling operations and smooth functioning softwares.

Skills Competencies:

• Experience in handling Medical devices, especially high-end and advanced imaging equipment devices.
• Should have a good customer service attitude.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
• Self-starter with minimal assistance needed in performing the task.
• Problem-solving attitude

Qualification:

• BSc/MSc, B.Tech/M.Tech from Biosciences or Life Sciences or Electronics Telecommunication or Electric Electronics or Biomedical Engineering

Experience:

• 2 to 5 Years
