Job summary

Medekom Ventures Pvt Ltd seeks a Service Engineer for Medical Devices to handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of high-end medical equipment. You will work to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction while handling documentation and reporting.

Ideal candidates will have BE/BTech in Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical (Diploma holders with relevant experience also considered) and 2-5 years in medical device service. Travel and customer-facing duties are required.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in service/maintenance of medical devices.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Strong communication with customers to ensure resolution.
• Knowledge of basic electrical/electronics concepts and ability to troubleshoot hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service high-end medical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintenance of medical devices, including patient simulation, cardiology, and OT products.
• Maintain daily communication with customers and prepare service-related reports.
• Work closely with sales team and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle preventive maintenance and calibration activities with a proactive approach.

Primary Role: As a Service Engineer for High end Medical Equipment, you shall be responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing Medical Devices.

Job Description

• Experience in repair and maintenance of medical devices.
• Experience in installation, maintenance of Medical Equipment (Patient Simulation devices, Cardiology & OT products).
• Handling preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Maintaining daily communication with customers to ensure resolution.
• Relevant technical knowledge of basic electrical/ electronics.
• Minimize downtime with proactive measures.
• Making Maintenance & Service-related reports.
• Working closely with the sales team.
• An ability to work well under pressure.
• Preferable from Medical instruments Service and calibration background.

Job Specification

• Extensive travel may be required.
