Job summary

Medekom is seeking a Service Engineer for Medical Devices to handle installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of high-end medical equipment. The role requires repairing and maintaining devices, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping customers informed to ensure timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates will have BE/B-Tech or Diploma in related fields, 2–5 years of experience, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in repair and maintenance of medical devices.
• Installation and maintenance of Medical Equipment (Patient Simulation devices, Cardiology & OT products).
• Handling preventive maintenance of medical equipment.
• Maintaining daily communication with customers to ensure resolution.
• Technical knowledge of basic electrical/electronics.
• Minimize downtime with proactive measures.
• Making maintenance & service-related reports.
• Working closely with the sales team.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Preferable from medical instruments service and calibration background.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service high-end medical devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with customers and sales team to resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare service reports and maintain documentation.
• Work under pressure and travel as required.
