Job summary

Forbes & Company Limited. is seeking an experienced engineer for on-site service and industrial automation support in Delhi.

You will provide system-level engineering assistance, install and commission equipment, and perform breakdown and preventive maintenance for AMC customers. Ideal candidates have an engineering degree or diploma in mechanical/production and 3-6 years of experience in service/industrial automation, with strong problem-solving and field-service skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical/production.
• 3-6 years experience in service/industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support on systems, system elements, and interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes.
• Possesses general working knowledge of industry practices, standards and technology areas.
• Works under general supervision, follows established procedures, and solves routine problems in the engineering discipline.
• Applies engineering disciplines to support design, development, implementation and operation activities.
• Assists in definition, trade-off and design activity. Reviews, evaluates, and analyses designs.
• Conducts installation and maintenance of systems/equipment, and provides associated training to customer personnel.
• Diagnoses, isolates, and corrects problems of Machines to restore system's functions.
• On-site system for operation, maintenance & breakdown maintenance.
• Mechanical Installation/ fitting of SPM & Marking Machines with technical team.
• Electrical cabling / instrumentation / commissioning.
• Controller Drawing reading and training of fault finding
• Part replacement
• Provide support / working on Breakdown / service calls need logical approach for fault finding, working on Preventive maintenance for AMC customer

Education
