Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a tool and die design engineer to independently manage design activities and lead the development of new tools and dies (GDC & LPDC). You will coordinate with the cross-functional team, prepare required material indent for tool manufacturing, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in line with IATF and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool and die design process and documentation.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and APQP concepts.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle tool and die design activities.
• Design of New Tool & Die Development work (GDC & LPDC).
• Indenting for material required for tool manufacturing.
• Interact technically with cross-functional teams for tool and die design activities.
• Coordinate with CFT members regarding tool and die design requirements.
• Timely submission of tool and die design to in-house dept. / Vendor and communication.
• Coordinate with concerned dept. for tool correction.
• Ensure accuracy and discipline in work.
• Documentation of Tool Design activity as per IATF system & customer requirements.
• Have knowledge of APQP, Foundry Process, CNC / VMC Operations & Manufacturing processes.
• Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.
