Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a focused Tool & Die Design professional in Pune to independently manage tool design activities and develop new tooling for production lines. You will interface with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of APQP, foundry processes, and CNC/VMC operations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, documentation, and timely delivery of designs to in-house or vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool and die design.
• Knowledge of APQP and IATF systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with foundry processes and MFG workflows.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle tool and die design activities.
• Design new tool and die development work (GDC & LPDC).
• Indent material for tool manufacturing.
• Interact with cross-functional teams (CFT) for design activities.
• Coordinate with CFT on tool design requirements.
• Timely submission of designs to in-house dept or vendors; maintain clear communication.
• Liaise with concerned dept for tool corrections.
• Ensure accuracy and discipline in work and proper documentation per IATF and customer requirements.
• Have knowledge of APQP, Foundry Process, CNC/VMC Operations & manufacturing processes.
• Perform any other task assigned by superior.

• To interact technically to CFT for tool & die design related activities.
• To coordinate with CFT members regarding the Tool & Die Design requirement.
• Timely submission of Tool & Die Design to in-house dept. / Vendor and Communication.
• Handling with concerned dept. for tool correction.
• Ensure accuracy and discipline in work.
• Ensure proper documentation of Tool Design activity as per IATF system & customer requirement.
• Having knowledge of APQP, Foundry Process, CNC / VMC Operations & Mfg. process.
• Any other task assigned by superior from time to time.
