Job summary

Merkle in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for CDP Platforms to architect and lead Data Cloud-driven solutions. You will own data models, ingestion pipelines, and integration with MCP to drive activation and personalization.

Required hands-on Data Cloud experience, Salesforce Marketing Cloud familiarity, and strong API with MarTech integrations. This is a full-time position in a dynamic, cross-functional team focused on scalable customer data platforms.

Qualifications

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Technical Lead to architect and lead the delivery of solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience with Data Cloud, and a strong foundation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP).

You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, managing ingestion and activation workflows, and integrating Data Cloud with other MarTech platforms to enable unified customer profiles and personalized experiences. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and engineering.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, unification, and activation


• Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and customer profile stitching


• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially MCP, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio


• Proficiency in API integrations (REST, SOAP) and data connectors
