Job summary

Dbtp Oasis Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day execution for a large five-star hotel project at Karnal, Haryana. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate civil, structural, MEP and interior works, ensuring quality, safety and schedule adherence on-site.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of multidisciplinary site experience, proficiency in reading drawings, AutoCAD and Excel, and a hands-on, problem-solving approach. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction site execution experience.
• Strong understanding of civil works, MEP coordination, interior finishing.
• Ability to manage contractors and multiple fronts independently.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, MEP and interior drawings.
• Good planning, coordination, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Experience with hotels or large-scale hospitality projects preferred.
• Formal engineering qualifications desirable; substantial execution experience may suffice.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site on Karnal, Haryana.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site execution across civil, structural, MEP and interiors.

About the Role

We are developing a large-scale, 5 STAR INTERNATIONALLY BRANDED HOTEL in Karnal, involving civil and structural works, MEP services, interior fit-outs, faade, lighting, kitchen infrastructure, IT, AV, security, fire and life safety, and other specialised systems.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Project Engineer to oversee day-to-day site execution, coordinate consultants and contractors, and ensure that all project activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and timelines.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, independent execution capability, professional communication and a high level of accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site execution across civil, structural, MEP, interior finishing and associated specialist works.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, designers, contractors, vendors and supervisors to ensure seamless execution across all disciplines.
• Review and coordinate approved drawings, identify technical clashes and resolve site-level issues through the appropriate approval process.
• Monitor workmanship, quality, material availability, manpower deployment and contractor performance.
• Ensure proper sequencing of civil, MEP and interior works to minimise delays, conflicts and rework.
• Follow up on pending drawings, technical clarifications, material approvals and consultant decisions.
• Track daily and weekly progress against project schedules and report delays, risks and pending decisions directly to management.
• Maintain proper site documentation, progress reports, inspection records and coordination trackers.
• Ensure compliance with approved specifications, safety requirements, applicable standards and five-star hotel brand requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning and handover activities as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction and multidisciplinary site execution.
• Strong practical understanding of civil works, MEP coordination, interior finishing and construction sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage contractors, supervisors and multiple work fronts independently.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP and interior drawings.
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred; knowledge of project planning tools is an advantage.
• Experience in hotels, luxury hospitality or large-scale commercial developments will be preferred.
• Formal engineering qualifications are desirable; candidates with substantial, demonstrable execution experience may also be considered.
