Job summary

Algoleap Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to lead CMDB strategy, governance, and health. You will own the CMDB ecosystem, drive data quality, and implement CI discovery and mapping across on-prem and cloud environments.

Role requires 8–10 years IT experience with deep ServiceNow CMDB knowledge, CMDB governance, and ITIL-aligned processes. Hybrid Hyderabad work option available.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of overall IT experience with strong ServiceNow administration expertise.
• Deep knowledge of CMDB, CSDM framework, and CMDB health initiatives.
• Experience designing, implementing, and governing CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the ServiceNow CMDB ecosystem with data integrity and compliance.
• Lead CMDB governance initiatives, policies, and audit controls.
• Design and maintain the CSDM framework and CMDB health dashboards.
• Configure and manage Discovery and Service Mapping for accurate CI mapping.
• Drive remediation of duplicate, stale, or non-compliant CIs.

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to lead and manage the organization's Configuration Management Database (CMDB)strategy, governance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate willpossess deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Common Service Data Model (CSDM),Discovery, and Service Mapping, with a strong focus on CMDB health, dataquality, governance, and integrations across infrastructure and cloudplatforms.

This role will work closely with IT Operations, Service Management,Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure accurate and reliableconfiguration data that supports critical ITSM and ITOM processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and managethe ServiceNow CMDB ecosystem, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, andcompliance with organizational standards.
  
• Lead CMDBgovernance initiatives, including policies, procedures, audit controls,and best practices.
  
• Design,implement, and maintain the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework.
  
• Configure andmanage ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions toensure accurate CI identification and relationship mapping.
  
• Drive CMDBhealth improvement initiatives, including remediation of duplicate, stale,incomplete, or non-compliant Configuration Items (CIs).
  
• Define andmonitor CMDB health metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
  
• Implement andmanage integrations between CMDB and infrastructure/cloud platforms.
  
• Collaboratewith infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams to ensureconfiguration data accuracy and completeness.
  
• Support ITSMand ITOM initiatives by providing robust CMDB data architectures anddependency mappings.
  
• Document CMDBprocesses, standards, operational procedures, and technical designs.
  
• Conductstakeholder workshops and provide recommendations on CMDB maturityimprovements and optimization opportunities.
  
• TroubleshootCMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping issues and implement sustainablesolutions.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• 8-10 years ofoverall IT experience with strong ServiceNow administration expertise.
  
• Extensivehands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration.
  
• Strongknowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CMDBarchitecture.
  
• Hands-onexperience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
  
• Expertise inCMDB governance, lifecycle management, and operational best practices.
  
• Strongexperience in CMDB health analysis, remediation, and data qualityimprovement initiatives.
  
• Experienceintegrating CMDB with on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments,monitoring tools, and third-party data sources.
  
• Understandingof Configuration Management processes aligned to ITIL practices.
  
• Experiencedeveloping dashboards, audits, and compliance reports related to CMDBhealth.
