Job summary

Elabs Infotech in Hyderabad/Bangalore is seeking a Configuration Management & ServiceNow CMDB Specialist with 5–8 years of experience. The role focuses on CMDB governance, CI lifecycle management, and ITIL-aligned processes rather than hands-on development.

You will own CMDB health, data quality, and compliance, drive governance policies, and collaborate with application, infrastructure, and operations teams to maintain CMDB accuracy and enable effective incident, change, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Must have Configuration Management and ServiceNow CMDB experience.
• Strong CMDB governance and compliance background.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Knowledge of CSDM and CI lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Govern Configuration Management and ServiceNow CMDB processes.
• Own CMDB health, data quality, completeness, and compliance.
• Manage CI lifecycle: creation, updates, normalization, relationships, retirement.
• Define and monitor CMDB governance policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
• Track CMDB KPIs, compliance metrics, and health scores and prepare management dashboards/reports.
• Identify CMDB data gaps and drive corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Work with application, infrastructure, service management, and operations teams to maintain CMDB accuracy.
• Support CSDM / Configuration Management initiatives and ensure alignment with ITIL practices.
• Conduct governance reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement in Configuration Management processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during CMDB implementation, enhancement, testing, and remediation activities.
• Support Major Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes where they have dependencies on CMDB.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-based Configuration Management practices.
