Job summary

Nagarro is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect in India to design and maintain enterprise CMDBs, Discovery, and Service Mapping. You will implement and govern CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture, manage IRE configurations, and lead integrations via REST/SOAP. Strong CS/IT background and CSA are required.

Work with Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, and Security teams to ensure data quality and scalable ITOM solutions. Excellent stakeholder management and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5.5+ years IT experience
• Strong CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping experience
• Hands-on CMDB design/implementation
• Experience with CSDM, CMDB Governance, IRE
• Experience with CMDB Health, CI Relationships, Data Certification
• ServiceNow development with JavaScript, Glide APIs, BRs, Client Scripts
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets
• Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, patterns
• Top-down Service Mapping, Business Service Modeling, Multi-tier mapping
• Integrations via REST/SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of ITOM, infrastructure, networking, virtualization, cloud
• CSA certification mandatory; CIS Discovery/Service Mapping preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain enterprise CMDB solutions
• Develop Discovery and Service Mapping for apps/infrastructure
• Ensure CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture and governance
• Configure IRE, rules for identification and reconciliation
• Monitor CMDB Health and data quality metrics

• Create and optimize Service Maps for multi-tier apps
• Troubleshoot CMDB/Discovery issues and duplicates
• Build integrations using REST APIs and MID Servers
• Collaborate with Infra/Cloud/Net/Sec teams to improve data quality
• Lead technical discussions and mentor juniors

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 5.5+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong experience in CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise CMDB solutions
• Strong experience with CSDM, CMDB Governance, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
• Experience with CMDB Health, CI Relationships, Data Certification, and Duplicate CI Remediation
• Strong ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped Applications
• Hands-on experience configuring Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and patterns
• Experience developing and maintaining Pattern-based Discovery solutions
• Strong expertise in Top-down Service Mapping, Business Service Modeling, and Multi-tier Application Mapping
• Experience integrating CMDB with SCCM/MECM, VMware vCenter, Azure, AWS, GCP, Active Directory/Entra ID, and monitoring tools
• Strong experience working with REST and SOAP APIs for integrations
• Good understanding of ITOM processes, enterprise infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory; CIS Discovery and CIS Service Mapping certifications are preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CMDB solutions following ServiceNow best practices
• Develop and configure ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for business-critical applications and infrastructure
• Implement and maintain CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture and governance standards
• Configure and manage Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE), identification rules, and reconciliation rules
• Monitor and improve CMDB Health, including completeness, correctness, and compliance metrics
• Configure Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, sensors, and pattern-based discovery solutions
• Create, maintain, and optimize Service Maps for distributed, hybrid, and multi-tier applications
• Troubleshoot Discovery failures, identification issues, duplicate CIs, and Service Mapping-related problems
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers to enrich CMDB data
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams to improve CMDB data quality
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, governance, and security best practices
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and provide recommendations for scalable ITOM solutions
• Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement initiatives across the ServiceNow platform
