Job summary

VRINDA INTERNATIONAL is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Engineer to own CMDB data quality and governance across a PAN-India footprint. You will drive CMDB design and upkeep, including Discovery, Service Mapping and integrations with REST APIs and Integration Hub, ensuring CMDB remains the trusted system of record for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in ServiceNow CMDB and related ITOM domains.
• Hands-on CMDB, CSDM, Discovery and Service Mapping expertise.
• Ability to define governance for data quality and CI data.
• Experience with integrations and REST-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CMDB aligned with ServiceNow CSDM.
• Configure CI classes, attributes, relationships and lifecycle states.
• Implement and troubleshoot Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Manage MID Servers, credentials, probes and patterns.
• Monitor CMDB health: completeness, correctness and compliance.
• Define identification and reconciliation rules and governance standards.
• Handle Import Sets and Transform Maps; data normalization.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs and Integration Hub.
• Automate CMDB processes with Business Rules, Workflows and Scripts.
• Build reports and dashboards; support impact analysis and change risk.
• Collaborate with Architects, ITSM/ITOM teams and Application Owners.
