Job summary

Smart Moves Talent Crafters Pvt. Ltd. in Gandhidham, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced sales professional to generate new business in freight forwarding and logistics. You will promote Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, and related services, visit customers, present proposals, and close deals.

The role requires 5–6 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, with a strong background in air/sea freight and international logistics, plus excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–6 years in Sales & Marketing within the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry.
• Must have a Freight Forwarding background.
• Thorough knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, and International Logistics.
• Strong understanding of geographical regions, trade lanes, and geopolitical factors impacting global logistics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, and Logistics services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Promote Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and Value-Added Logistics Services.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, and business meetings.
• Coordinate with the Pricing and Operations teams to provide timely and competitive quotations.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline, customer database, and submit regular sales reports.
• Stay informed about market trends, trade routes, and geopolitical developments affecting the logistics industry.
• Travel as required for customer meetings, business development, and networking.
