Job summary

Jeena & Company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. The role focuses on developing new business, managing key client relationships, and hitting revenue targets across Ocean Freight and Air Freight services.

You will coordinate with operations and pricing teams, qualify opportunities, prepare quotations, and lead negotiations to close deals, while building a robust sales pipeline and network of shippers and exporters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Acquire new customers and develop long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Promote Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and other logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close commercial deals.
• Conduct regular client visits and understand customer logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of customers, shippers, importers, exporters, and industry contacts.
• Handle customer queries, negotiations, and escalations effectively.
