Job summary

Ace Recruitment Placement Consultants is hiring a Sr. Sales Engineer focused on B2B sales in a designated domestic territory. You will generate leads, prepare proposals, and drive orders in capital goods, particularly rotary equipment, with a proven target-achieving background.

Reporting to Marketing, you will develop plans, marketing materials, and reports while leveraging social media to grow the brand and client base in Kolkata and surrounding regions.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in the capital goods industry.
• Proven experience handling end-customers for Engineered-To-Order products, preferably rotary equipment.
• Track record of achieving targets in previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads and enquiries from existing and new clientele.
• Prepare tailor-made proposals with technical and commercial details.
• Develop budgets and management reports for sales reviews.
• Create marketing presentations to meet customer needs.
• Develop and execute marketing plans in consultation with Marketing Manager.
• Prepare tour and monthly reports to track activities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
• Maintain a database of client interactions to improve follow-up efficiency.
• Leverage social media to promote the brand and engage clients.

Job Role Summary Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and working under the guidance of the Manager - Marketing, the Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Marketing is responsible for sales in a designated domestic territory. The role focuses on enquiry generation, order booking, and achieving targets for bookings and profitability.

Key Responsibilities • Generate new leads and enquiries from existing and new clientele. • Prepare tailor-made proposals capturing technical and commercial details aligned with customer expectations. • Develop budgets and management reports. • Create tailor-made marketing presentations to meet specific customer needs. • Develop and execute marketing plans in consultation with the Manager - Marketing. • Prepare tour reports and monthly reports. • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs to inform sales strategies. • Develop and maintain a database of client interactions to enhance follow-up efficiency. • Leverage social media platforms to promote the brand and engage with clients.

Experience and Track Record • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in the capital goods industry. • Proven experience handling end-customers for Engineered-To-Order products, preferably rotary equipment (e.g., gears, pumps, compressors, generators, couplings, turbines). • Proven track record of successfully achieving targets in previous organizations.
