Job summary

Bajaj Finserv Limited in India is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead the branch operations, coach the team, and drive growth in the gold loan and related financial products.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage customer relationships, supervise valuations, and coordinate field marketing to expand the client base while maintaining NPAs under control.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in gold loan banking or branch management.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher; Post-graduation preferred.
• Experience in management or client service and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conduct error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments being pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and auditory compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups with customers for interest collections.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports, and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCD's, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at branch.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj finance limited. The branch manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
