Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and drive profitability.
• Coordinate field-marketing activities to improve brand visibility.
• Plan and monitor field-level marketing to generate leads and growth.
• Engage customers for new acquisitions and retention of existing clients.
• Perform appraisals of gold ornaments pledged with accurate weight/purity.
• Safekeeping of pledged securities as joint custodian of the Vault.
• Maintain NPAs through follow-ups on interest collections.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train staff with timely feedback.
• Generate branch reports and drive business growth in the branch.
• Expand Gold Loan and other products like NCDs, Gold Coins, etc.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch Manager has managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct and monitor branch field-level marketing activities to ensure healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conduct error-free valuation/appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit/compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility of safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Keep NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
