Bajaj Finance Limited is seeking a Branch Operations Lead to drive profitability and oversee end-to-end branch performance in the gold loan segment. The role emphasizes field marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and strict adherence to company policies.

The ideal candidate will manage valuation of pledged gold, vault custody, and NPAs, while coaching a team and delivering regular performance reports to enable branch growth.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee branch operations and profitability of the branch.
• Drive field-marketing activities for various financial products to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor field-level marketing to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads and business growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conduct valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with weight and purity assessments per policy and audit.
• Act as joint custodian of the vault for safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs in check through diligent follow-ups for interest collections.
• Plan effectively to ensure smooth branch functioning and foster team cohesiveness.
• Hire, coach, mentor and train employees and provide timely feedback on performance.
• Maintain quality performance, prepare reports, and take actions for business growth in the branch.
• Increase gold loan business and other products like NCDs, Gold Coins, etc.
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation and branch operations.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations, performance profitability of the branch.
• Drive, participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.
• Conducting error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit/compliance.
• Joint custodian of the vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups with customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports, and taking necessary actions for growth of business in the branch.
• Increase gold loan business, plus various other third-party products, i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale, etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at the branch.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
