Job summary

Think Events in Mumbai seeks an experienced Events Leader to oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of high-profile productions. You will mentor the Operations team and steer client negotiations, ensuring cost-effective delivery and top-tier quality.

You must be based in Mumbai, capable of managing vendors, forging solutions for diverse events, and guiding cross-functional teams through end-to-end production with ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years relevant events experience.
• 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Based in Mumbai with willingness to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, ideate and prepare costs for event proposals for client briefs.
• Plan and execute all event set-ups & dismantle with the Operations team.
• Supervise & mentor Operations/Production Executives in the team.
• Lead client interactions and negotiations for production & technical requirements.
• Ensure quality control and effective execution, manpower utilization during the event.
• Delivery of projects with optimum cost utilization, meeting client and agency expectations.
• Vendor management.
• Ensure all financial settlements with accounts team including Profit & Loss statements and closings of all executed events.
• Ensure smooth communication between internal teams (Client Servicing, Creatives & Vendors) for all event requirements, planning and execution.
• Build and maintain an exhaustive Vendor database.
• Generate new business from existing clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proactive in providing Fabrication and technical solutions for events
• Presentable with communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ownership mindset You shouldnt require monitoring and you should be able to leverage the freedom given to you to create high value to the company and yourself as a professional
• Passionate about events and the active lifestyle
• Based in Mumbai and comfortable with erratic working hours.
